Apiary Update

Hive inspection today, we were hoping for a harvest but due to the bad weather over the last week the bees have consumed more than they collected.

Also we found some queen cells which we believe will be for supercedure (replacement of the queen as she is getting old).

We introduced another hive into the apiary site at McGrath orchards last week (the one on its own), the queen has a excellent laying pattern and has settled in well.
